John Henry Arnold John Henry Arnold enlisted in Company F, 20th Indiana Volunteer Infantry as Private. He was from Lafayette, Indiana, Tipacanoe County when he enlisted. He was born in Harding, Virginia. He was wounded in the Battle of the Wilderness in the shoulder and was discharged due to wounds. The bullet was not removed until 1884. I have the bullet he was shot with. Photograph and information submitted by Private Arnold's great great grandson, Stephen David Forman.
