John Baptist Inman

John Baptist Inman was elected as Commander-in-Chief of the Grand Army of the Republic on September 2, 1925 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was born October 19, 1848 in Westfield, Medina, Ohio and served as a drummer boy with Company I, Fourth Minnesota Infantry. He died December 15, 1929 in Springfield, Sangomon, Illinois.
