1. It is with deep regret that I announce the passing of Past Commander in Chief Charles “Chuck” Corfman of the Department of Ohio. In addition to being a Commander in Chief, Brother Corfman was Past Department Commander of the Department of Ohio and Past Camp Commander of the Given Camp 51. Brother Corfmans involvement and leadership within the Order has made a difference to the many Brothers that knew him.
   
   
2. Condolences and cards may be sent to Brother Corfmans wife Mrs. Janice Corfman, 9057 State Route 83, Holmesville, OH 44633-9727. Janice is the Ohio Department President of the Ladies of the Grand Army of the Republic.
   
   
3. It is ordered that the National Web site, the Charters of all Departments and Camps and membership badges be draped in black for a period of 30 days from the date of this General Order.
