The 1860 Henry Patent rifle was a true force multiplier on the battlefield. The rifle was highly accurate, with a firing rate of 18 rounds per minute and a 16-shot magazine. The Henry 1860 Patent rifle fired .44 caliber rimfire cartridges while today’s fires std .44-40 center fire rounds.
Over 12,000 Henry 1860s were sold to and carried by Union troops in the War of the Rebellion.
The Henry was feared on battlefields, becoming a symbol of both technological advancement and battlefield effectiveness. Battle tested, a company possessing Henrys would lay down withering firepower, scattering enemy divisions into full retreat.

Each Henry 1860 SUV Eagle(c) .44-40 rifle is a finely crafted commemorative firearm reflecting both the historical significance of the original Henry rifle and the enduring mission of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War. Produced by Henry Repeating Arms, this special edition rifle is designed as a faithful tribute to one of the most notable firearms carried by Union “Boys in Blue” during the Civil War.

The Henry 1860 Rifle’s Commemorative Design
This special edition rifle reflects both historic inspiration and detailed modern craftsmanship. The official design and engraving pay tribute to the legacy of the Union soldier and the mission of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War.
Each rifle is engraved with custom-designed, precision quality scrollwork, exclusive era and commemorative designs copyrighted and licensed to the order by the Henry project lead.
Henry is supplying each rifle purchaser and Certificate of Authenticity with Serial Number included on natural paper stock for framing.

Before placing an order, each Brother must first identify a Henry FFL dealer through the Henry 1860 SUV Eagle© ordering page. Use the “Find a Dealer” section on the Henry USA website and search by ZIP Code to locate a nearby Henry dealer. Remember Brothers may order up to three rifles per order.
1. Visit HenryUSA.com/1860SUVEagle.
2. Use the “Find a Dealer” menu and enter your ZIP Code.
3. Write Down the complete dealer’s name, address and phone number, needed to order.
4. Call the FFL licensed dealer to confirm that they will accept the rifle transfer. Please note that a transfer fee may apply (usually about $80)
5. Once the dealer confirms the transfer, return to the Henry ordering page and add the Henry 1860 SUV Eagle© .44-40 rifle to your cart.
6. Fundraising Committee members will disseminate the member-only ''coupon code'' to members.
